What Herne Bay Pride Is About?

 

Herne Bay Pride is a community led organisation dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and standing up for LGBTQIA+ people in Herne Bay and the surrounding areas.

 

We exist to create safe, inclusive, and visible spaces where everyone can be themselves without fear, judgement, or discrimination. Pride is not just a celebration for us it’s about community, solidarity, and year-round support.

 

We work to:

• Challenge homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, and all forms of discrimination

• Amplify LGBTQIA+ voices within our local community

• Provide safe, welcoming events and spaces for people of all ages

• Support equality, inclusion, and human rights for all

 

Herne Bay Pride is proudly inclusive of trans, non-binary, intersex, and gender-diverse people. We believe trans rights are human rights, and that everyone deserves dignity, respect, and visibility.

 

We are run by and for the community. Everything we do is rooted in compassion, equality, and the belief that Herne Bay should be a place where everyone belongs.
